The Lord promises that if we follow Him we will not

“lack any good thing”.  THE KEY IS allowing Him to

lead us.  This week we are praying and learning to

“Be Led by the Lord” into the blessings He has for

us.   Thank You for joining us, and as always, we wel-

come your thoughts and prayers.

3  Your soul is your mind, intellect, emotions, and your will.

God wants to “fix this” first;  Then your physical being will

follow it into the promised blessings.  TODAY WE ARE

PRAYING FOR THE SPIRIT TO LEAD US INTO “SOUL

RESTORATION”.

4    We associate this prayer with being led by the

Lord into Heaven at the end of our lives.  Though it

does apply, God also wants to lead us through the

trials and challenges we face;  And in difficult

times, we can follow Him to His blessings, His

peace, and His provision.  TODAY WE ARE PRAYING

to stay focused on The Lord, and learn to follow

Him every day.

5  The “oil” is the Holy Spirit and the  “banquet table” is

the blessing on the other side of the trial. TODAY WE ARE

PRAYING that we will not allow the trial to distract us from

the blessings and rewards that are promised if we stay

connected to the Lord.

6  As usual in trials (and in the prayers of the Psalms) we

end with a faith declaration to keep us connected to The

Lord.  “Goodness and Mercy” are promised as the result of

STAYING IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD. TODAY WE ARE

PRAYING that we will remain close to the Lord at all times

AND LIVE IN THE BLESSINGS PROMISED TO THOSE WHO DO

SO.  Thank You for joining us this week, and God Bless You.
