Ps 20: TO BUILD FAITH AND ENCOURAGE YOUR SOUL IN A BATTLE

Every Promise here BECOMES FOR US an expression of faith in God to receive His strength

and for victory in the battles we fight.

EVERY PSALM IS A PRAYER AND WORSHIP SONG that praises God for the promises in His Word.

Praying this prayer is more than a request for God's help;

It is the practical application of having faith in Him

to receive what He has promised.

20:4

When God says to pray that He will, “give you your heart's desire”,

HE IS TRUSTING YOU, THAT YOUR DESIRES ARE HIS DESIRES.

KNOWING THIS, You can, “ask according to His will”

AND HAVE FAITH THAT HE HAS HEARD YOUR PRAYERS. (1 Jn 5:14)

20:5

One form of “prophesying” is “to declare the Word of God,

OUT LOUD, straight from the Bible.

This is an act of faith that releases God's power (grace)

that you need to receive the promises.

20:6

This is not a reference to Jesus...

It is a reference to us as God's people:

GOD “ANOINTS” YOU WITH HIS GRACE AND POWER TO WIN

THE BATTLES YOU FIGHT.

He never intended that we fight in our human strength.

Be encouraged: God is With You.

20:7 The Goal of this week's prayer has been

God strengthening us and encouraging our hearts

to win the battles we are fighting.

THE KEY: A PRAYER OF FAITH is more than a request for help:

It demonstrates faith and becomes “the Sword of the Spirit”

that we use to release God's power for victory over every enemy.
