Psalm 127
We all need a home and food, and want to feel safe;
GOD IS TEACHING US: Unless we allow God to provide these
basic needs for us, all our efforts will be “in vain”.
Laboring and Prospering with the Lord
Vs
Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early,
to sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.

Children are a heritage from the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
Are the children of one’s youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full; They shall not be ashamed,
ANOTHER “BASIC TRUTH”:
When our family does well, All is well with us.
GOD SPEAKS TO US IN THIS PRAYER:
Trust and rely on God, as “your Father in Heaven”;
He will help you “build a life”
IN A MANNER MARKED BY HIS PEACE....
