Each section is “Named by one Hebrew Alphabet Letter (in alphabetical order).

Every phrase in each section begins with a word that begins with the corresponding Alphabet letter.

I do not have a Specific Christian or Jewish principle for THIS USE OF PSALM 119.

However, it is a practice to associate Hebrew Alphabet Letters and Numbers to names.
