Psalm 107 Thanksgiving to the Lord for His Great Works of Deliverance

Use This Verse / Chorus Pattern (summary of this Psalm) for Prayer, Worship, and Meditation

TO RECEIVE THE BLESSINGS PROMISED HERE

VS Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!

For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.

CH Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces.

God promises blessings and mercy to His People,

AND THESE BLESSINGS ARE RECEIVED

AND REMAIN UPON US THROUGH OUR PRAISE

AND FAITHFULNESS TO HIM / HIS WORD.

WE HEAR IT ALL THE TIME:

God does not promise a life free of trials and troubles,

BUT HE DOES PROMISE TO BE WITH US THROUGH THEM ALL

AND GIVE US THE HELP WE NEED.

GOD ENCOURAGES US, AGAIN, TO PRAISE AND THANK HIM

FOR HIS GOODNES TO KEEP THE BLESSINGS

IN THE “TRYING TIMES”

EVEN WHEN “THE TROUBLE IN OUR LIFE” IS THE RESULT OF “OUR SINS”

GOD, IN HIS MERCY, WILL FORGIVE US AND RESORE US TO HIM

KEEP PRAISING GOD FOR HIS GOODNESS AND MERCY,

AND YOU WILL STAY IN POSTION TO RECEIVE IT
