Psalm 10 INTERCESSION FOR THE OPPRESSED

Use This Verse / Chorus Pattern (summary of this Psalm )

for Prayer, Worship, and Meditation

TO RECEIVE THE BLESSINGS PROMISED HERE

v

Why do You stand afar off, LORD ? Why do You hide in times of trouble?

The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor Arise, O Lord! O God, lift up Your hand!

Arise, O Lord, lift up Your hand! Do not forget the humble.

ch

You have seen, O Lord, For You observe trouble and grief,

You have seen it, to repay it by Your hand.

The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.

Arise, O Lord! O God, lift up Your hand!

God does NOT hide from us when we’re in trouble,

So why a prayer (and worship song) with these words ?

BECAUSE He knows sometimes We feel like He doesn’t hear us.

God gives us His Words of Faith to build us up and encourage us

in the battles we go through AND IN OUR PRAYERS FOR OTHERS !

This is our “Faith Declaration”

to deal with the enemy

when we feel overwhelmed.

TAKE THE ENCOURAGEMENT THE LORD GIVES.

WHEN WE ARE AT OUR WORST “A Helper to the fatherless….

Is God saying, “no one is cut off from His help….

Starting with you and me !
